Like others, including myself, have stated, our overall compensation package lags behind other Airbus operators in just about every section. That isn't news to anyone on the seniority list here but anyone with some foresight knows it will improve. Only you can tell if you can make this place work or not. We have a great pilot group, the flying is, for the most part, easy and there is a lot of potential here. Ignore the trolls. If you decide to pull the trigger just be ready to stand with us while we go through the bargaining process. There are a few of us here that will try and give you no b.s. answers to your questions, so fire away.

Sooner or later, it will be our turn or drastic measures (like a strike) will occur.

If that's what it takes, then I am more than willing and ready. I think most other pilots here, as nice as they are described above, are as well.

I will tell you that the culture of the people whom you would work with as a pilot is friendly. The culture of the company is that ALL of its employees are resources and cost them money - anything they can do to cut costs is completely acceptable to them.

Keep that in mind when deciding . . .

BL - if you're looking to get paid out of this, I'd stay wherever I was (if fairly senior) and wait for a legacy. If you're not into being on reserve for years, kinda like the company of others and can strike up a conversation about something other than the contract or management and can afford to wait a year or 3 to get paid better, then consider it.
