That UAL video is pretty boring, but extremely thorough. There's a few things wrong, I don't remember what, but most noticeably, our NWS is run off of Yellow, not Green Hyd. But if you learn everything in class and save the video for oral review, you should be able to pick up on anything that might be wrong.
I usually give it a watch before my PC.
In my new hire class we had 2 "viewing parties." Boring as heck, but easier with a group. Order some pizza and keep the alcohol to a reasonable amount.
It's because the video is older. The NWS used to be off the green system on the bus until JetBlue in LGB. Wouldn't be surprised if some of United's planes are still off the green being so old. I haven't watched the video but airbus has made a few important changes since the video was made.
There are no gotchas here. Just study. No one is out to get you or prove to you they know more than you.
