Its because airline pilots (for the most part) have forgotten that we're nothing but blue collar labor. Granted, we get paid a lot and live in nice neighborhoods with Republican neighbors. That doesn't make us one of them.
A enormous amount of us have forgotten exactly what we are, where our profession came from and who really has our interests at heart.
Last time I checked most professional pilots are college educated.
And as far as who has our interests at heart? It ain't the Democrats. It ain't the Republicans. And in many cases, it isn't even the unions.
