If the United pilots are truly grateful to us for the nice pay bump we are getting for them, then they can show that gratitude by not blocking a dues reduction this time.
1.5% is absolutely reasonable. Immediately.
1% should be the long term goal.
For day to day I completely agree. But if we had higher strike pay and other things like a much higher MCF, maybe we wouldn't be as vulnerable. Then again, guys making a quarter million a year or more who are still a couple paychecks from ruin wouldn't benefit from any level of support.
We constantly complain about how real players hire the best agent and lawyer sharks, then we stress out about paying half a percent while getting outflanked by the opposition.
