The maximum age right now is 30, that's not to say there aren't waivers available but you have plenty of time. There was a dude in my class who was 32. I agree with HercDriver130, I'd just apply right now unless you just want to work until you go to UPT. If you're thinking about active duty I'd definitely look into how long the airline requires you to work if you get hired. I'm definitely no expert on this matter but I've heard of some airlines requiring you to work for a specified period or pay back the airline for your training. Realize too that military flying is vastly different than airline flying so the experience you get as a Regional pilot will help you in areas such as Instrument flying, but you'll be on the same level as everyone else in most other areas.
