Would it be better to fly (buying my ticket, non-CASS/121) into CVG or DAY? Ticket prices are about the same, and I'll be renting a car. Will be making the flight home in the afternoon/evening, so looking to take traffic into consideration.

You'll have to drive through either city to get to the airport, so I don't think it matters much. DAY is probably a bit closer, but I'd go by whichever schedule works best, which airline you like best, etc.

FWIW, depending on the day it might take longer to get through the interview than you think. When I interviewed the sim instructor had a bunch of things going on, so my sim ride was delayed a couple hours. Just take that into consideration when booking flights - a guy that interviewed the same day missed his.
