The Guppy is a historically good airplane and has had its time. But that time is over now. It's a 1958 airplane at heart. Airbus is killing Boeing on the need of customers, other than SWA. The Guppy is not a 757 and it never will be!!! Neither is an A321NEO, but it's closer to it than the Guppy. Boeing set the standard and then stopped producing the standard. If Boeing would bring back the 757 with current technology, I believe that Airbus would sell a lot less A321s. A new 757 would re-establish the standard.
