If I make a 3P entry to change my bid preference from ORD to DFW do I have to do anything after making DFW my bid preference or do I wait for an email or HI6 message saying I've been awarded DFW? You do not have to do anything further at this point other than verify your bid preferences before a vacancy bid closes. When a vacancy bid is posted, closes, and is subsequently run, a final award will be posted. If you were awarded a different status in said vacancy, your name and next status will appear in the final award. 3U commands show how many crew members are currently holding that status, and where your relative position would be in that status.
