I've done 3 125+ hour months the last few months and while the money is good, QOL stinks. You basically put yourself on voluntary SC at any base for the entire month.
Great point. The company got caught with staffing, but 100+ pilots a month seems to have caught them up. The Atl 717B category was a wreck from the end of last year, to the end of this summer. Each day had pages of GS, GSWC and IA. Now, you can go days without one GS award. It is tough being a ready reserve, in and out of base. If you can get consistent LCA trip drops, and roll some thunder in the summer, it's a little easier to compound your hours of pay.
