a. Reassignment After the Last Duty Assignment of the Duty Period
A Crewmember shall check-in by email or telephone under subsection
17.N.4 immediately after he arrives at the hotel and receives a room
assignment following the completion of his last duty assignment of the
duty period. Within forty five (45) minutes after the Crewmember checksin
with the Company, the Company shall assign the Crewmember to
another duty assignment or a 1 in 7(s).
(i) The rest period begins forty-five minutes after the Crewmember
checks-in with the Company or he receives another duty
assignment, after he checks-in with the Company, whichever
occurs first. .
(ii) The 1 in 7(s) begins immediately after the Company responds to
the Crewmember check-in referred to above.
(iii) The first duty assignment after the rest period begins in
accordance with Section 18 (Hours of Service).
