Go bid afternoon reserve on the 80 in either SFB or LAS and then report back in 3 months. You're on the bus, you have no idea what those guys go through.
I know several people who bid mixed lines in LAS and have not been called on afternoon reserve for over 2 months. I think it depends more on staffing and peak months but currently it is a very easy gig.
