Posting this here in order to try and catch the eye of someone who can actually answer my questions. I am around 50 hours short of my R-ATP total time requirement (I've met all the other mins). I know someone with a homebuilt experimental aircraft that will let me fly it for the price of gas which totally beats $100/hr for a 152. It's a fixed-wing tricycle-gear real airplane, not an ultralight. What I need to know is if I can legally log time in an experimental aircraft towards my ATP total time requirement. If anyone has experienced with this, I'd really appreciate a PM.
