Keep AirBnB in mind as well. I have heard of new hires getting a bunch of guys together and getting a house for a month. Of course having a car may be a necessity with that but it's an option.
I am considering that as well, however I have a decent amount of HHonors points that I have been setting aside... I may use them for SIM.
