Sharing a Residence Inn suite can work out. You'll have a kitchen, separate bedroom / bathrooms and walk to the sims with no car required. If it's not your sim partner, your days and hours can be out of synch. At times that'll be good and at times it'll be bad (bring some white noise). More expensive than a crash pad but less than a solo hotel. Marriott points usage, or earning.
