...but.... just to set the record straight. If your flying any modified plane without 337s, its not experimental, its unairworthy. You could re-certify your aircraft as experimental if you wanted to.

I only state this to point out if someone did a "Do it Yourself" fix on their airplane it would not be OK to fly as an experimental...
