Kirby supposedly loves the 321. The 321neo is outselling the 737max, which means later available delivery slots. The threat of a huge ($$$) cancellation, of both A350 and max10, may compel Airbus to give us a better package of A350's and 321neos with a better delivery schedule.
Good points. Also A350 failed ALPA's crew rest committee and it's not compliant with the contract. According to the rep I spoke to our language is strong and ALPA can prevent company from using on augmented flights. Rep said AA & DAL's language no where as strong as ours and they both will apply to FAA for waiver with their union's approval.

Even the company counterparts to ALPA's crew rest committee agrees A350 is non compliant per contract and 117.
