In last night's contest against the Chicago Bears, Colin Kaepernick became the first QB in NFL history to be sacked five times and throw for fewer than five yards in a game. He was benched in the 4th quarter of the game after a week of commentary from his fans insisting he was playing the best football of his career. The 49ers lost the game, their 11th in a row.
In a seemingly unrelated incident on the same day yesterday, the Russian-made jeep hauling Fidel Castro's ashes broke down, forcing soldiers to push it. Just a week before, Kaepernick had expressed his admiration and support for Castro before playing in Miami, home to America's largest anti-Castro Cuban immigrant population.
