You have a one year seat lock on the 88. You can bid to any other base that has 88's. I would also bid SLC as your first choice since crew Skeds can release a seat lock. That's unlikely however if you don't ask you won't get.
Last Ae I think I saw a handful of 88 new hires get the er in LA. Surprising things like that seem to be happening lately. Next AE will be very interesting.
