Most people want DFW that got ORD or LGA on the 145. So it could be a while. It will be longer at LGA because they need more pilots to fill that slot. A friend of mind that has been at ENY a year in ORD was being kept up to a year after awarded DFW because they need people in ORD. I'm assuming LGA will be worst than ORD. Best thing to do is plan on staying in LGA for a while since it's a new base. Being displaced to ORD will happen a lot quicker most likely.
True 12-13 FOs were awarded DFW in March this year had to wait until Dec 2 to get transferred. The amount of new hires coming into this place will make that time drop like a rock. We are currently over staffed in NY o the 145 but they are going to keep putting guys there and let guys bid out. 30 guys per month are getting put into the 145 so it's not going to take long to get out of LGA.
Next Vacancy bid will be out soonish I think.
