Im wrapping up my flight training prior to CFI and my training has been Part 142 based so far.
The question I pose is if anyone in particular tends to look down on people who have been learning to fly mostly by sim as opposed to the real thing.

As far as getting your certificates, nobody cares where they came from unless it was the military.
Some 141 guys like to say that 141 is better, but they are invariably students or CFI's who are just mindlessly parroting what the salesman told them when he took their money (I have extensive 141 and 61 experience). Nobody in the kerosene world gives a darn.
Sounds like you're going to CFI for a while...that will be viewed favorably since it is real-world PIC experience.
