I doubt they would accept any school program that was not accredited. As far as "life experience" degrees, I would be surprised if they were accredited and you didn't have to do anything other than submit your life story/certificates. Online schools would probably be okay if coming from an accepted institution like Embry Riddle or other university. A lot of enlisted military work their way up while on duty utilizing those types of programs...don't have many other realistic options really. Delta seems to be mil friendly so I would think those programs would be acceptable. It's competitive though so it might be an achilles heel during an interview if you waited until you were 50 to do anything and don't really have a good reason why you didn't do it earlier.
