In return he says the union groups will have to give something up and the only thing they have left to lose is scope.
Nothing, most certainly not scope, should be for sale in this environment. Nothing is worth giving up jobs...and the last 7 years have done nothing but cement that fact.
More small jets outsourced away from mainline might be good for your short-term upgrade...but they're hell for all of our career progression and expectations.
