February could see more flying, or less, the number of pilots required may vary. There is little to zero correlation between how many people flow out and are replaced; if UAL decides to move Tranny or GJ more towards midwest flying again, DEN will see a jump. If we shrink, they'll let DEN attrit naturally, and NO ONE gets put in as people leave. It's a crapshoot. Also, January and February are historically the lowest block hour months of the year, so if there are only 8 reserves now, DEN could see an increase in staffing as we move towards spring so there are reserves for the high months.
