My whole point was we need to make a strong scope clause a priority in addition to pay and retirement.

The five links on the bottom provide a lot of useful information regarding the ruling.



Between reading Alaskas intital intentions regarding the merger, staring at many RJ orders and seeing how management is conducting themselves in TPA negotiations Im not optimistic about our future. Now is the time for unity.


To me that doesn't say we make less money by flying the passengers. It says we can't take 100% of the passengers with us because a number of them will stay with American and not book with Alaska.

I'm 1000% for scope and completely understand how our codesharing hurts our organic growth. The DOJ has really created our biggest scope win so far during this merger and now we need to do our part and get meaningful Scope language in the JCBA.
