Denver is a bigger base than ORD and MCO combined. Most of the FO's senior enough to be awarded capt are coming out of denver but have to bid to the other bases to hold capt. So there's more movement on the FO side in den. MCO and ORD fo's are pretty stagnant because neither base is growing much, if at all right now. And even if they have the same percentage of guys upgrading as den (they don't), that's still a lot fewer individuals actually moving.
This will probably begin to even out as they get further into upgrades and the number of guys bypassing dwindles. But as long as Denver is so much bigger, it will always have faster movement.
And upgrade is a lot closer to 3 years than 2 (which hasn't actually happened) or 2.5 for most guys and gals.
