Usually. But sometimes if the trip starts or ends with a deadhead I'll go direct to/from my home and skip the DHD. Several times that I've left my bag at domicile, it's cost me an extra trip just to go get it.

Some bases don't have adequate secure storage, although you can always chain the bag to a shelf I suppose.
