Here is another fact, I haven't heard from the maker/makers all their reasons why yet, I suspect (not a fact, just an opinion) that those selling conspiracies here haven't even spoken to the maker/makers about their motivation yet either.
Here's an opinion, some members of C44 may not be satisfied with how "Team Restoration" is getting along. They seem to be at odds with each other. These members of 44 may want to see a more united council working together at the MEC. One last opinion, there may be members of 44 who are not satisfied with how CK and JJ are representing them.
I thought last years recalls were driven by the fact that many of us felt our union leadership mislead us about what was and wasn't in TA15. As bad as that TA was, it's introduction to us was worse.
Then when we pushed back, the same union leadership, instead of acknowledging their mistake, took to disparaging the very members they were supposed to be representing. I think a few of them even threatened legal action.
When it gets to that point, you deserve to be recalled.
None of that happened this time. If people aren't satisfied with how their rep is representing them, they should let the rep know. If that doesn't work, vote for a different rep in the next election.
Reps weren't recalled in 2015 because they voted yes. Reps in 2016 shouldn't be recalled because they voted in any particular way, either.
It's silly.
