The old man (52 years) in my newhire class at United 18 months ago now sits 50% in his base with weekends off/all Hawaii flying, and will now clock this payscale on the 737-800/900 in the new year (with additional 3% raises going forward).
When I see him in Ops, he always has a smile on his face.
