There are actually quite a few uniform possibilities, the local Police/Fire uniform stores have plenty of choices. Just get uniform pants in charcoal black, a lot of "black" pants are really dark navy blue, been buying pants from Galls online for years, save your allotment for shirts.
If you are going anywhere north of the US/Mexico border during the winter months pack a modern watch/beany cap and some fleece gloves, which will insure that your head won't suffer brain freeze and you wont do your walk around wearing Air Force gloves.
