Dan Carey could be George S Patton, it does not matter when the officers under your command and essentially warring tribe leaders who cant fight a bigger enemy together, so they fight each other. It's like Syria down at Ft. Fumble

Carey won't get squat done with the current BOD. Each one thinks they are in charge. Each one pushes for what they want (even if it's not what their rank and file pilots in their respective bases want). Each one thinks they are the smartest guy in the room. And many of them, IMO, probably don't even respect or listen to Carey....a few ran against him for his job remember.

Until the line pilots switch out the board, nothing will improve....NOTHING!!!!!!!

Carey, if he wants change, needs to educate the pilots on how change happens. It's not by pounding fists, making rah rah videos, and writing strongly worded emails. It's fixing what's broken....what's broken is the BOD. Fix that, and then you have something for maybe the next guy or gal President to work with, cause it's probably going to take that long to fix it. Otherwise it's more self-warring arguments over the jumseat policy, and pushing the company on leather jackets.

Pathetic.
