A few years ago the flight attendants and ground staff for AF were on strike and DL upgauged several CDG flights and I was called out while on call to work that flight. Its a shame I had a flat tire on the way to work. I'm not on call over the next few weeks but if I was and was called out to work one of these flights I surely wouldn't push to fly with a sore throat. Just saying.
Ok so you read the official view from the MEC Chairman and you are still asking pilots not to pick up sections although there is nothing going on officially until the union at Virgin says there is something going on.
Last time people did stuff like that we ended up with the 49ers.
If you feel so strongly about this then you need to bring it up with your union, when you finally convince enough FA's to vote for one.
