You are basically modern history and I believe know the ALPA local rep , first name starts with J, you are talking about. He always had the pilot's best at heart but maybe was a bit full of his capabilities.
Trust the problem in SEA was management and their lack of decision ability. They even considered pulling out of DEN during BK.
You flew at United when we had DC-6's and 7's? I am humbled.
Wait a minute, United retired it's DC-7's in 1964 and DC-6's in 1970.
