Pretty straight forward....7 on, 7 off. You basically know your schedule 1 year in advance. You can bid different start days and they are awarded by seniority. Different fleets have slightly different start days.

Then you have the "CC" schedule = crew choice
They are awarded by seniority and only a certain % can be on the various schedules.
A bit period is 4 month and starts on 1 Oct.
The schedule for the "CC" is posted on the 15th of the prior month.

CC52 = 52 workdays during the above mentioned bid period.
That comes out to 13 days per month. They can go up to 15 but then one of the other 3 month has to be 11.

CC60 = 60 workdays = 15 days a month

CC72 = 72 workdays = 18 days a month

CC76 = ...well, letīs do the math :-)

Pay is obviously based on no. of workdays. The difference btw CC52 and CC76 is quite substantial.
You can also go into the scheduling website and opt for "long or short tours", ask for holidays on or of etc....all given based on demand and seniority.

Hope that helps
New hires may be required to be on the CC72 for several months before permitted to bid another schedule. This happens any time you train into a new fleet as well. 7&7 is technically not known a year in advance. Your vacations are the only sacred protected off days on that schedule until the monthly is published. Technically, any month could contain a training event and cause a work week shift. It has seriously upset those with big plans on their off days in the past. The trick is to make sure your big plans are only made for vacation periods.
