You interview, hire into Envoy and less than 6 years later you are at American. You don't have to do another interview or a medical. You simply transfer over as you would if you had bid the E175 coming from the E145.
This is not the truth.
When you flow, you get zero credit for any longevity and seniority. After flowing, you work for a different company and start all over at the bottom. You lose all your vacation accrual. You go back to Year 1 for everything. You go back on probation.
It is dishonest to pretend "flowing" is as simple and seamless as merely bidding a vacancy bid.
