As a side note to address how long you'll sit before class, the 4 days of ground and 3 sim sessions aren't back to back. My CTP ground is Mon-Thur, then sitting for a week (they fly me home in between) before coming back for the sim portion of the CTP. I'd call your CTP class coordinator if you want the exact dates.
