The irony of the hometown Rocky Mountain airline being brought to its knees by a slightly inaccurate snow forecast in Denver amazes me. Is there better proof of how weak this operation really has become under the reigns of Franke and Biffle?
I can't recommend this job to any colleagues anymore, no matter how desperate they are for a flying gig- for the simple fact I feel a twinge of embarrassment every time I don the uniform and go to work. Twice in one year this airline has fallen apart when Denver gets hit with snow, and not once has our "leadership" (I.e. Accountants) taken any shred of responsibility for this. Not even a "sorry to our employees that were stranded and unable to contact us". Complete radio silence from the Chief Pilot's office during the whole debacle! Not one stinking memo. This place does not have your back.
Not looking forward to the rest of this winter at work.
