With all this talk about unity, I wonder how many of the vocal voices on here will actually show up to a picket line if our union decides that is the course to go. P2P is a committee everybody can get into yet we only less than 10% of our pilots who do it. It seems like everyone wants to talk about unity when it relates to stuff they don't do (cleaning, stand-up PAs). I'd like to see unity in more things that you do.

How many of you have flown with something that should be written up but didn't write it up because it was the last day of your pairing and you had a commute to catch (like the O2 test on the 190)? How many of you drop you brake prior to push clearance not to get an on-time, but just to start the pay clock? But you're right, making a stand up PA and cleaning is hurting our negotiating position.

This doesn't mean that I support either of those, but the fact that you guys on here think that's the thing that's hurting our negotiating position is disturbing. Kind of like missing the forest for the trees.
