Color vision deficiencies were partially to blame in the TLH 727 crash. One of the pilots had a SODA if I recall correctly. Visual acuity is critical in aviation, but I am thinking that in light of the percentage of night flying we do and the TLH mishap 20/20 vision will important to FDX.
