I hate to add this extra step, but maybe we should all start "educating" our in-flight colleagues on what our FOM actually says regarding cleaning so to avoid unnecessary calls from the CP. This could be done during the formal briefing prior to boarding. Let them know that it only applies to Non-rev and not Duty, and that light cleaning is adequate.
