Always wanted to do part 135, but the way the airline industry is moving, Piedmont is tempting. Thoughts?
I came over from two years of Pt91 flying and, although I'm not in class yet, I'm glad I made the switch. I don't miss that life at all and I love the benefits I have.
Plus, if I, for some reason, wanted to go back to contract flying, I'd have an EMB-145 type. There are a few operators out there who fly the 145 and are looking for someone with 121 experience. They may not be the first choice, but I have that option. It's always good to have options.
As a lot of people said to me on another paid forum, if you want to be taken seriously later in life, go 121. You don't have to stay, but get the great training and experience that it offers.
