Not sure if it's in the ALPA by-laws, but a failed carrier represented by ALPA typically gets some kind of favorable hiring preferences at other ALPA carriers. It's not a guaranteed job, or even interview, but it could help out getting ZW resumes higher in the stacks of a lot of HR departments.
