This works pretty good until you get a 24 hour layover. Trying to fit two sleep cycles in 24 hours doesn't work...I don't care what anyone says...you're going to be fatigued, regardless if you're on home time or local time.
Case in point: you get to the hotel at 2300L, go to bed, sleep for 8 hours, and you're up during the daytime. Good luck trying to get some quality sleep before your pickup time.
Since your pickup time is at 2300L, and you'll be flying all night (3 legs, and transiting SZX), you'll be lucky to be at the hotel again at 1000L the next morning. There is no way you can fly this, and not be completely exhausted. I know, because I've done it multiple times. Flip-flop back to daytime flying for a day, then back to night again, and you see where this is going.
The only good thing about staying in Asia for a 13 day trip is that you're not really transiting time zones, once you get over there. Japan and Korea are Z+9, and China, Singapore, Philippines, and Malaysia are all Z+8. We transited a lot more time zones when I flew the whale, but we almost always had an IRO, bunks on the aircraft, and longer layovers to recover.
