Can anybody answer the actual question the OP posed? It's implied they are an OA nonrev, since they didn't specify " Fly Confirmed (which is available to DL employees, not sure about regional affiliates). Without greater detail from the OP, my inclination would be to assume " ZED fare, " but I don't have the current knowledge to answer with confidence. However, I have successfully checked bags on a DL-AS connection to ANC via SEA, even with no pass in hand for the AS leg (had a listing for XCM, don't recall sharing that number with the check in agent - just told them the AS flight I was jumpseating on). Many of us would be thankful for an answer to this question: " Is there some level of listed travel priority below which connecting bag check is not offered by Delta and cooperating airlines?"
