Not at SKW, but should be the same for you as for us....

2) Taxable perdiem is what the company pays you when you remain in base. Say a single turn out and back into your home base. Non-taxable is when you leave your base and RON somewhere.

Additionally, you get to claim 80% of the difference between what the company pays you and what the IRS allows annually on your taxes, IFF you qualify to itemize (means nothing if you only take the standard deduction). But only (80% of) 75% of the first and last day.
