I wouldn't suggest it... Between the pressurization, vibration, and the way that handlers toss stuff around (this is the big one), you're probably pretty likely to end up with a broken bottle (or more). I've had beer on board (and often bring a case or four back from the west coast when I fly for work), so the actual flying part isn't an issue, but I don't know if I would trust your typical airline ramper to handle a case properly...
Some airlines have policies banning liquid in glass containers as checked luggage. Be sure to check with the carrier ahead of time.
