I was personally told in a December recurrent ground class by management that they had zero plans of releasing seat locks. They informed us that the cost would be too high and they do not have the training staffing to accommodate a system wide seat lock release and if you are seat locked when your base transitions you go with the airplane. d. When Vacancies are posted during or within thirty (30) Days of a Displacement bid, an existing Equipment Lock shall not prevent a Pilot who is being displaced from bidding and being awarded a Vacancy.
