don't know too much about the interview/gouge, other than it's nothing to get too worked up about. The overall interview process at allegiant is relatively low stress and not designed to fail you. As far as I know it's simply to see if you'll be a good fit... lots of easy and practical TMAAT questions. If you make it past phone and get invited to vegas for the personal interview it's pretty much yours to loose; it's a low key, quick interview.

As far as upgrade, on the bus, it's steadily going up, and probably will continue to do so. I'm an Aug 24, 15 hire (PIT bus) and even if I upgraded on the next bid, I wouldn't receive my first captain paycheck until almost exactly on my 2 yr anniversary plus or minus a few weeks. That's still extremely fast given the industry, but I think most will agree that it's looking most likely that growth will slow and upgrade times will slowly trend more towards the 3 to 4 yr mark (that's first available btw, some bases will be substantially longer). MD-80 first available upgrades are currently at about a year and change and I imagine will always be faster than a bus upgrade. My 2 cents, but it's fairly realistic.

read over Allegiant's quarterly and annual reports for your best future growth indications, but I can already tell you, you won't like what you see; as they're on the conservative side of practical estimates (as with any growing airline).
