We are responsible for 10% of all LAX arrivals and departures. That is a crazy number to operate with when we've had to deal with everything from LAX construction issues to weather and ever growing congestion of gate space. We simply cannot and will not see that much improvement in performance even if MX gets better, simply because close to 80% of our metrics as a regional derives from LAX ops. No other regional in the country has the LAX presence that we do and with just one airline at the main terminal. This gives us very little room to divide and delegate performance numbers across more bases or regions like most other regionals do.
LAX is like LA traffic, over time it's only getting worse. Hoping the moving to T2 and T3 will give us relief.
