Yes they do, I was just offered the job after the last DB with only a 2 year, although I have been working on my 4 year and I'm just 5 classes away from obtaining it. It was my second interview and I am typed, but I'm not a chief pilot, checkairman, or any other fancy title. So there is hope, just keep updating and networking and your time will come.
