The info on www.aviationinterviews.com is spot on and current. The interview is a very non-confrontational affair with really nice, professional folks.

All 26 written questions are available at that site, and they want to see that you made the effort to prepare. The panel interview is as advertised, and the sim profile is exactly as described. People say the sim is very sensitive, but didnt seem that bad (but I've got a bunch of Jetstream time, so sensitive becomes a relative term).

As for the questions:

QOL-no idea, just interviewed. This and "the other" forum indicate that QOL is not too great unless you live in base. Even then it is still nothing to write home about.

Training-4 weeks Ground in DAY, 3 weeks sim in CLT. All at full guarantee plus per diem. Training department is supposed to be very good.

Washout Rate-In the interview we were told something like 17% over the past few years.

New Hire Times-My interview group ranged from 300/20 on up.

Reserve-Depends on base-currently pretty long in CLT (1 yr+) to short in DAY (few months) from what we were told. Living in base is a big thing for me, and a big factor in my interest in PSA.

Upgrade-Again, currently pretty long, like almost 3 years. However the furloughed Mainline guys are returning by March. They "unofficially" told us 2 or less. I took this with the standard airline-issue grain of salt.

Like anywhere, it's a crapshoot; but IF (a big, huge, dayglo IF with flashing lights all over it) the rumored flowthrough agreement is actually in place now and the rumored CRJ900/1000 order happens (along with a proper rate!) then it may actually end up being a good time to get on at PSA.

Bear in mind that the above is based solely on the observations of an outside observer and recent interviewee. The view from the inside may vary.

Good Luck.
